If you like what you see, I may post some more in a future blog. I’m also curious to know what are some of your favorite inspirational quotes. Please feel free to share. Hope you enjoy.

“My motto is simply: no one can tell me that I can’t succeed. I’ve come to believe that every goal in life is obtainable and that the only limitations are the ones you set for yourself. For
some, the road to success is merely based on taking advantage of opportunities for themselves. When you have to find a way where there seems to be none, as I sometimes had to do, success in the end is even sweeter.” – Dr. Sampson Davis, The Pact

“The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” –  Romans 8:18

“What I know for sure is that no matter where you stand right now – on a hilltop, in a gutter, at a crossroads, in a rut – you need to give yourself the best you have to offer in this moment. This is it. Rather than depleting yourself with judgments about what you
haven’t done, who you could have become, why you haven’t moved faster, or what
you should have changed, redirect that energy towards the next big push – the
one that takes you from good enough to better. The one that takes you from
adequate to extraordinary. The one that helps you rise from a low moment and
reach for your personal best.” –  Oprah Winfrey

“Writing isn’t a luxury. Writing is not like putting on earrings. It’s not an accessory. This is a necessity. It’s central to us to be honest about our lives. It’s central to us politically and
economically. We need art to survive.” –  Lorene Cary

“You just have to find something you love. And then be bold enough to do it. Forget about the money. Find something you love. Do your thing. Find that one thing that makes you feel like the sun won’t come up soon enough because you just can’t wait to do your
thing.” – Christopher Gardner

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” –  2 Corinthians 4:18

“If the letters “v” and “e” are added to love spelled backwards, you get evolve. So let us continue to evolve and live through love, by love and for love and embrace life, living to the
fullest extent humanly possible in God’s amazing grace.” –  Monda Raquel Webb, A Peek Into My Soul Redux

“A writer’s mind never stops working.” – K. Lowery Moore

“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed; for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.” –  Joshua 1:9

“If history is our guide, it is clear that we have survived the hurricanes and volcanoes that others have thrown against us. It is now our own fears that must be controlled, understood, organized and made ready to confront and conquer whatever awaits us.” –  Haki Madhubuti, Tough Notes: A Healing Call for Creating Exceptional Black Men

“A person writes because of the sheer enjoyment of it, because the pleasure derived from the endeavor. To find something within themselves that is beautiful and lasting.” –  Marcus Major

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which
do appear.” –  Hebrews 11:1 – 3

“I don’t have the answers, not yet, but I do know this is certain; loving, running, and writing have one thing in common. The one who wins at any one of these is the one who does it on the days he doesn’t feel like doing it. The one who does it when it’s hard. The one who sweats through the difficult times and endures the pain: Those are the people
who succeed.” –  Eric Jerome Dickey, Between Lovers

“The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering.” –  Bruce Lee

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” –  Marianne Williamson, A Return To Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles
